About Jaclyn
My recent path has been one of learning to slow down, listen deeply, and return again and again to my own inner knowing. Through movement, breath, and embodied practice, I have come to trust that wisdom is not something we need to seek outside of ourselves.
Becoming a mother to my daughter Isla softened me in new ways. Her presence has been a gentle teacher, reminding me of simplicity, intuition, and the natural rhythm of life. Isla Retreats is inspired by her steadiness, curiosity, and innate connection to the world. In many ways, this work is a reflection of what she has helped me remember: to be present, to trust, and to move through life with openness and care.
I hold these retreats not as an expert with all the answers, but as a guide and fellow participant in the journey of embodiment, presence, and self-inquiry..

Jaclyn’s movement journey began in the world of competitive dance, where she developed discipline, strength, and a deep connection to the body. Over time, she felt called toward a more compassionate and inward practice, which led her to yoga. After years of personal practice, she traveled to Goa, India to complete her first 200-hour teacher training five years ago. Immersed in the roots of yoga, she deepened not only her physical practice but her understanding of its philosophy and transformative potential.
Since then, Jaclyn has continued expanding her education in the movement and healing space, integrating modalities such as hot and cold exposure, meditation, breathwork, and aerial yoga. Her classes are intentionally designed as safe, supportive containers where students can explore, release, and reconnect. She believes transformation begins within and is deeply passionate about cultivating spaces where every human feels welcomed, empowered, and part of a meaningful community.@movewithjaclyn
